Articulated and implemented transfer programs with other colleges and universities. Set up the department budget.

Willingboro Township Police Department, Willingboro, NJ.

Supervised the record department and the data entry “Calls for Service” and Incidents daily, compiled the local data to form the Uniform Crime Report (UCR) for the NJ State Police. Administered and trained the staff on the Argus Police software. Administered 3.12 & 3.11 Novell and XENIX networks, maintained the Filepro (4GL) code for some police applications. Recommended and purchased hardware and software to automate the police department. Set and analyzed the budgets for the department.

Prepared and compiled the annual budget needs, purchased the software and hardware for the computer labs. Installed and configured software packages, MS Office, and business programs on the server. Performed and Provided Help Desk duty and technical support for the staff in the SAS, SPSS, and Email and Bitnet/Intranet software.

September 1984 – February 1989 Scientific Programmer/Analyst

Unisys Corp. Trevose, PA.

Maintained CMS-2 code on the Sonobuoy Reference System (SRS). Analyzed and modified the baseline code according to new specs on VAX/VMS and UNIX systems. Designed, coded in FORTRAN and tested and integrated the Data Reduction Computer Program Item, for the North Warning Short Range Radar System. Designed, coded in FORTRAN 77 and tested the Control Pedestal Computer Program Component (CPC, BAM structure) for the NEXRAD (NEXT generation whether RADar) project on the Perkin Elmer. Mainly every 35 ms, a periodic I/O was issued to input the current position and output a command to the pedestal with the rate and position to control the rotation of the pedestal, conducted quality assurance on others’ CPC (Computer Program Component) applying 1267 DOD Standards.
